 IODATA 1394-PCI3を使用すると以下のようになった。
 # lspci -v

    modprobe ieee1394
    modprobe ohci1394
    modprobe sbp2
    lsmod
    dmesg

 # echo "scsi add-single-device 2 0 0 0" > /proc/scsi/scsi
 # cat /proc/scsi/scsi
とすると、
 Host: scsi2 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
   Vendor: Century  Model: 0KLAT80          Rev: 8.15
   Type:   Direct-Access                    ANSI SCSI revision: 02
となった。

 fdisk -l
 fdisk /dev/sdc
 mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdc1
として使う。
